The Southern Cross 2 is a completely freestanding lightweight tent suitable for all-season backpacking. 2023 version.
Taking its design inspiration from the award-winning Laser range of lightweight tents, however, it includes an additional pole to provide extra stability and structure.
- Provides excellent stability and structure.
- The tent has 2 doors and 2 equal size porches enabling easy access, whilst providing plenty of storage space for kit.
- Pitching is quick and easy as the flysheet and inner are erected as one.
- The flysheet and groundsheet are fully taped providing complete waterproof protection.
- There is a spacious inner and porch, and the porch door can be fixed open in several ways to provide the most suitable weather protection.
- There’s a useful webbing loop at the bottom of the flysheet door to accommodate a trekking pole, enabling you to create a canopy.
